I had wonderful intentions to start this blog off with an original idea, but alas, accountability wins over again. Until I have someone looking over my shoulder keeping tabs on me, my commitment level is about that of a high school football draft pick. (And thus lies probably the only football metaphor I will really ever be okay with writing. I don't even know if that joke makes sense. Let me know, if you are so moved.) My POINT is, don't we all do a little better and try a little harder when we know there will be eyes watching (in this case, hopefully)? If you are someone who can perform at their highest at all times, there's the door. Thanks for stopping by. This is a place for trying and claiming to be committed in hopes that it will make it stick this time.
So. My borrowed beginning. In more ways than one, I might add, although why I'm admitting that is a bit of a mystery to even me. Y'all ever heard a this? https://thegreatdiscontent.com/interview/elle-luna-100-day-project I tried and failed last year, so if I make it past day 6 send me a celebratory bottle of champagne, please and thank you. I hereby christen this blog dedicated to the 100 days project for the next 100 days, maybe with some outlier posts sprinkled in between, just in the places where it still looks a little empty. You can also keep up with me and my project on Instagram. I do believe there's a handy (albeit tiny) link to me there at the bottom of the page. So there's part A of my borrowed beginning. Part deux comes from another participant of the project who picked a paint chip each day and wrote about it. http://designobserver.com/feature/100-colors-100-writings-100-days/11257 I'll change up a few details maybe. But here's my framework of a plan: use the RANDOM HEX COLOR CODE GENERATOR (https://www.random.org/colors/hex) which just feels like it should be shouted, to offer me a color. I will proceed to name it, make it human, give it a voice. Maybe a funny voice that sadly will not be formatted for this blog for sheer self-preservation. And I'll write a little about it, whatever that actually means. I'm sure it'll turn to be more about me. But I'll give you a color, maybe even another visual if I feel so inclined, and some words. My hashtag? #100DaysofVerbalColor
I hope this goes well, for your sake and my own. First color on deck.
Verbally and colorfully yours,
